Sorbitan Oleate is a non-ionic, vegetable-based, PEG-free liquid emulsifier which is a monoester of oleic acid and hexitol anhydrides derived from sorbitol. HLB value 4.3 making it suitable for water-in-oil emulsions. It is can be used as a co-emulsifier in combination with high HLB emulsifiers for making stable water-in-oil creams and lotions. It can be used to inculcate water based actives in ointments, balms, butters
